CONTRACT TYPE: This is a UNIT PRICE contract, and includes Bid Alternate1.

PROJECT SUMMARY: This Project includes new MWBE and Workforce Goals (reference Sections SLR 19 and SLR 20), and consists of the improvements to water mains on State St. (Platt St. to 350’ South of Platt St.), South Ave. (Fort Hill Terrace to Elmwood Ave.), Cynthia Ln (Sandra Ln to Dead End) and Branch St. (Sandra Ln to Dead End.

The scope of the work consists of cleaning the interior of water main pipes of rust tubercles, deposits and other foreign matter and the rehabilitation of these water mains by inserting a new cured in place pipe (CIPP) structural lining within the interior of the existing pipe. Included in the contract is the supply and maintenance of temporary bypass pipe. The work is to be performed at various locations within the City of Rochester, as shown on the contract drawings.
Base Bid includes improvements to State St. (Platt St. to 350’ South of Platt St.) and South Ave. (Fort Hill Terrace to Elmwood Ave.); Alternate No. 1 includes improvements to Cynthia Ln (Sandra Ln to Dead End) and includes improvements to Branch St. (Sandra Ln to Dead End).

REQUIREMENT: This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Training Requirements; and MWBE and Workforce Goals Requirements.
