ATTENTION BIDDERS:

The City has increased the Incentive Program for hiring city residents. Please see Section 20.
This contract includes new MWBE and Workforce Goals (please see Appendix “C”)

This demolition package contains a total of thirty-seven (37) structures. Seventeen (17) structures in this package contain friable and non-friable asbestos materials and will need to be demolished under the NYS Industrial Code Rule 56 requirements for “Controlled Demolition with Asbestos in Place.” The twenty (20) remaining structures in this package contains no asbestos and shall be demolished accordingly.

Because demolition of these structures is a high priority public safety matter, the City seeks to have the demolitions start immediately upon award of the contract(s) and have as many of the properties as possible completely demolished and cleared no later than October 31, 2018. For this reason, the City reserves the right to award multiple contracts based upon the capacity of each bidder to complete properties awarded on or before October 31, 2018
