PROJECT ESTIMATE: $2,368,000.00

CONTRACT TYPE: This is a LUMP SUM contract and includes Bid Alternate(s) 1 thru 8.

PROJECT SUMMARY:  The project will include the rehabilitation of Genesee Gateway Park and the Genesee Riverway Trail within the project area to provide sightlines and access to the waterfront and trail system, and public recreational use of the parkland. Park elements to include: site grading and drainage; lighting; basketball court; playground and surfacing; hand carried boat launce; trail and park paths; identification signage; site amenities; and landscaping. Bid alternates include: #1 - river railing rehabilitation; #2 boulder accents; #3 bolder retaining wall; #4 gateway markers; #5 boundary markers; #6 additional play features; #7 sign wall; #4 gateway markers; #5 boundary markers; #6 additional play features; #7 sign enhancements; and #8 additional site amenities.
Ths project is funded by grants through the New York State Department of State and contains Minority and Women's Business Enterprise goals of 15% Minority and 15% Women's Business Enterprise particicipation of the total dollar amount of this contract as awarded.

REQUIREMENTS: This Contract Contains and Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Training Requirements; and New MWBE and Workforce Goals Requirements

Sealed Proposals Endorsed with the name of the Bidder and stating the Bidder’s address must be received by the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall Room 105-A, 30 Church Street, Rochester, NY 14614 prior to the Bid opening. The Bid opening is scheduled at 2:00 pm local time on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened, read and recorded. When the Bidder submits their Bid, the Purchasing Office will inform the Bidder of the room location where the Bids will be opened. Bids shall be submitted only on the complete Proposal on the form provided by the City. Bids must be submitted in hard copy on the Proposal. Electronic bid submittals through BidNet will not be accepted.
