PROJECT ESTIMATE: $1,187,531
CONTRACT TYPE: This Project will proceed under (2) LUMP SUM Contract(s) as follows:
General Construction (GC)
Swimming pool –
The project scope for this contract involves the demolition and removal of the existing exterior
swimming pool deck, fencing including posts and foundations, swimming pool accessories
including bulkhead, lifeguard chairs, slide, starting blocks, pool cover and deck mounted
fasteners, and all other scope as defined on drawings. The restoration includes the installation
of a new concrete swimming pool deck with underdrains and deck drains, new fence, posts
and designated areas of wind barrier, new pool accessories as scheduled and detailed, new
bulkhead and new pool cover with recessed deck fasteners. The interior finish of the swimming
pool will be demolished to remove existing coatings and Marcite including all tile markers. The
pool shell will be examined and repaired as required and a new Marcite finish coating will be
installed to include all tile markers to match existing.
Plaza area-
The existing plaza area at the front entrance will be removed as shown on drawings including
but not limited to pavement, steps and ramp, railings, flag pole, bike rack, bus shelter, planter,
plantings, curbs and drainage structures. The plaza upgrades include including seat wall,
planter, new drainage structures, curbing, asphalt repair and connections, plantings and all other
work shown on drawings.
Electrical Construction (EC)
Swimming pool –
The project scope for this work includes the demolition of existing pole mounted lights, lights
bases, conduit and wiring. Existing building mounted lights in the pool area will also be removed
as well as all other work shown on drawings and specifications. Any pole existing pole mounted
devices such as speakers or security cameras will be removed and coordinated per drawings.
New light poles, bases, and wiring and new exterior lights will be installed. New building mounted
lights will be installed. Space conduits will be installed from building to light poles for use for
future pole mounted devices.
Plaza Area –
The plaza area work will include the removal of existing poles, bases and wiring as well as
building mounted lights as shown on drawings. New work to include new poles, lights, bases
and wiring as shown on drawings as well as new building mounted lights and lights for seat wall.
Provide new conduit from building to grass circle for future work as shown on drawings.

This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents and Apprenticeship Training Requirements for contracts which exceed $250,000.00
