PROJECT ESTIMATE: $3,800,000.00

CONTRACT TYPE: This is a UNIT PRICE contract.

PROJECT SUMMARY: The scope of the work consists of pavement reconstruction with a new heavy-duty asphalt pavement section, installation of new granite stone curbs and underdrain pipe, sidewalk and driveway apron replacement, new catch basins, replacement three side street watermain connections, replacement of hydrants and water services to the curb stop, new traffic signal systems at Bay Street and Clifford Avenue, installation of fiber duct, tree planting, street lighting upgrades, pavement striping and signage.

REQUIREMENTS: This Contract Contains and Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Training Requirements; and New MWBE and Workforce Goals Requirements

Sealed Proposals endorsed with the name of the Bidder and stating the Bidder’s address must be received by the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall Room 105-A, 30 Church Street, Rochester, NY 14614 prior to the Bid opening. The Bid opening is scheduled at 2:00 PM local time on November 09, 2023 at City Hall, 30 Church Street, Rochester, NY, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened, read and recorded. When the Bidder submits their Bid, the Purchasing Office will inform the Bidder of the room location where the Bids will be opened.
