PROJECT ESTIMATE: $409,301.00

CONTRACT TYPE: This Project will proceed under (4) LUMP SUM Contract(s) as follows: General Construction, Electric, Mechanical, and Plumbing/ Fire Protection primes.

PROJECT SUMMARY: The scope of the work consists of interior renovations to the 4th Floor of 57 St. Paul Street, Rochester for the proposed relocation of the Office of Training and Safety. The City of Rochester (COR) Office of Training and Safety is currently located in a stand –alone building in Greece, located in Maplewood Park. There is another project underway that requires them to vacate that building by August of 2024. The present premises is currently configured to accommodate (4) large symmetrical classrooms in the center of the space with surrounding open space to the exterior windows. The perimeter of the space has a “historically significant” decorative ceiling. This project provides select interior modifications in order to modify the current layout to suit the needs of Office of Training and Safety. The work consists of a Level II Alteration.

REQUIREMENTS: This Contract Contains and Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Training Requirements; and New MWBE and Workforce Goals Requirements. This contract contains new requirements for NY State Wicks Law.
