1.1 It is the intent of the City of Rochester to establish a contract for a contractor to provide three types of services for the City: Pavement Repair and Replacement Services for Parking Lots at various locations; Pavement Restoration services in the right of way with the Water Bureau and Emergency Street paving for water pipe breaks as requested by the Water Bureau
1.2 The primary users of this contract will be the Architectural Services, Building Services and Water Bureaus of the Department of Environmental Services; however, other agencies of the City may utilize the contract for the services described herein.
1.3 The Contractor shall be required to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials and supplies necessary for repair services required at various facilities owned, rented, leased, or otherwise controlled by the City of Rochester, or at any other location as directed by the City.
1.4 Bidders should carefully review the Insurance Requirements of Section 15, and must certify on the Proposal that they have the insurance specified.
1.5 NOTICE – this contract incorporates new MWBE and Workforce goal requirements, as required by Ordinance No. 2018-54.
This contract has a 30% MWBE Goal, consisting of 20% M and 10% W.
This contract has workforce goals of 20% M and 6.9% W.
