Description

It is the intent of the City of Rochester to establish a contract for the purchase of two (2) motorcycles Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Police model motorcycle FLHTP.

The Motorcycles supplied under this contract shall be designed and engineered for law enforcement use, and all components shall be factory installed with exception of the sitcom communication components.
The motorcycles supplied under this contract shall include Emergency EquipmentPackage Components. Each vehicle will be delivered to the City of Rochester completely assembled and operational with Factory Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) Motorcycle siren &Emergency lighting Components as specified in Provision 4. These components will be properly mounted to the base vehicle per the manufacturer’s specifications in the locations selected by the City of Rochester. All necessary mounting hardware shall be stainless steel “Bolt & Nut”. No
component shall be mounted using self-drilling or self-tapping hardware. At no time, shall there be any open butt, or scotch-lock style connector is used. All electrical terminals and connectors will be fully enclosed and impervious to salt, chemicals,and corrosion.
