PROJECT ESTIMATE: $9,298,572.00

CONTRACT TYPE: This project will proceed under four (4) Prime LUMP SUM contracts:
Contract 1 - General Construction (GC) - Estimate: $6,621,095.00
Contract 2 - Plumbing (PC) - Estimate: $393,645.00
Contract 3 - Mechanical (MC) - Estimate: $1,123,204.00
Contract 4 - Electrical (EC) - Estimate: $1,160,628.00

PROJECT SUMMARY: The work consists of a NEW 20,645 sf two-story, steel framed, slav on grade building that will house the Goodman Section Police Department and the Southeast Neighborhood Service Center office. Work includes site improvements on an existing Brownfield site, and must follow work protocols indentified in the Environmental Management Plan for the indentification and management of regulated materials that may be encountered during construction including a sub-slab depressurization system below the building. Some of the work is being funded inpart by a NYS Department of Environmental Conservatio Water Quality Improvement Program Grant (WQIP) through the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council. This work includes a semi-intensive green roof, storm water planters, rain gardens and permeable asphalt paving and concrete.

Sealed Bids are to be submitted in hard copy to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Room 105-A, Rochester, NY 14614 prior to the closing date and time, after which all bids properly received will be opened, read and recorded.

DUE TO THE UNCERTAINTY RELATING TO THE REOPENING OF CITY HALL DUE TO COVID-19, THE ABOVE SUBMISSION PROCESS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. IN THE EVENT THAT CITY HALL HAS NOT REOPENED BY THE DATE OF THE BID CLOSING THE CITY MAY DECIDE TO HOLD THIS BID CLOSING VIA SOOM. ALL BIDDER WILL BE NOTIFIED BY ADDENDUM WITH INSTRUCTIONS IF CITY HALL REMAINS CLOSED.

Bids shall be submitted only on the complete Proposal on the form provided by the City. Bids must be submitted in hard copy on the Proposal. Electronic bid submittals through BidNet will not be accepted.
