CONTRACT TYPE: This is a UNIT PRICE contract.

PROJECT SUMMARY: This Project consists of the improvements to St Paul Underpass, which allows pedestrian and vehicular access under a railroad between High Falls Terrace Park and Cumberland Street.The project includes New York State Department of Transportation MBE, WBE and SDVOB goals which consist of:
Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Goal 10%
Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) Goal 15%
Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) Goal 6%
The scope of the work consists providing a more welcoming connection of the St Paul Underpass through signage, enhanced lighting, bicycle/pedestrian enhancements, and other cosmetic
improvements to the underpass.

REQUIREMENTS: This Contract contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Training Requirements.
This Contract contains New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Requirement for Certified MWBEs and SDVOBs.
