1. It is the intent of the City of Rochester to establish a contract for Tree Removal on City Owned Properties/Vacant Lots.

1. There are over 2,600 City-owned properties/vacant lots within the City of Rochester. A sample of 100 City-owned properties are included in Appendix B.

1. On average, the City spends an estimated range between $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 for City-owned properties/vacant lots. This dollar range is provided for informational purposes only and does not, in any way, guarantee a dollar amount or quantity to be ordered. The City reserves the right to order less or more than the estimated dollar range provided.

Sealed Bids must be submitted in hard copy to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall Room 105A, Rochester, NY 14614, prior to the closing date and time, after which all bids properly received will be opened, read and recorded via Zoom. You may join the meeting in real tiem. Electronic bids submitted through BidNet will not be accepted. Note: due to the COVID 19 crisis City Hall is not open to the pulic, sealed bids and bid deposits must be dropped off in a secured drop-box at the City Hall link Entrance located on Fitzhugh Street, Rochester, NY 14614. Business checks and cash are not permitted.
