Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, will be received by the City Clerk City of Rome 1st floor City Hall until 3:00PM October 11, 2007, and then publicly opened and read for:

SOLID WASTE COLLECTION
Specifications may be obtained at: Department of Public Works 3rd. floor City Hall 198 North Washington Street, Rome, New York 13440 ATTN: Frank D. Tallarino Commissioner of Public Works. Specifications will be mailed for a non-refundable ten ($10) dollars, payable separately. All checks are to be made payable to the CITY TREASURER
A deposit in the amount of $10,000 (Ten thousand dollars) will be required. This deposit shall consist of a bid bond or a certified check payable to the City of Rome. Failure to submit bid bond or certified check will result in automatic disqualification of bid.
Bids must be submitted upon the proposal form(s) furnished.

The City of Rome reserves the right to revise or amend the specification prior to the date set for the opening of the bids. Such revisions and amendments, if any, will be announced by Addendum to this advertisement. The City’s Board of Estimate and Contract reserves the right to reject any or all bids received.
