Summary of Specifications:
City of Troy, NY is seeking sealed bids for the Madison Streetscape Improvements Phase 2. This project proposes to finish streetscape improvements from the railroad tracks west to the Hudson River (approx. 500’ length and 40’ width). Included in the proposed improvements is the following: place type 3 asphalt binder to achieve positive drainage to the catch basins along the southern side of the street. An alternate bid will be taken to true and level the roadway surface installed in 2009.
The funding for this project will be provided from an Environmental Protection Fund Grant.
The qualified contractor will be required to provide the following: 1. Site Mobilization 2. Install type 3 asphalt binder as shown in plans 3. True and level roadway surface
All work is to be completed in accordance with the attached specifications. It is the bidder’s responsibility to carefully examine all the provisions in this document. Bidder’s attention is called to the Performance Bond requirement as described in Section 7.

A certified check, payable to the City of Troy, New York, for five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid, or a bid bond in the same amount must accompany each bid. Failure to submit a bid bond or bid check will result in the disqualification of your bid.
