RFP-2011 Marina & Boat Launch - Operation of the City of Troy, NY Marina & Boat Launch/Docks

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Troy, NY is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors capable of operating a full service, seasonal marina located in the City of Troy, NY adjacent to the City's Riverfront Park, stretching from Jacob Street to the rear of the former City Hall, and a boat launch and docks located at 123rd Street in the Lansingburgh section of the City. It is proposed that dock space continue to be available at the current location north of the former City Hall. However, it is the intention of the City to work in conjunction with selected vendor to relocate the primary marina location south of its present location. 

The primary purpose of the Marina is to provide recreational boaters with services that will make downtown Troy a recreational destination and continue to promote the economic revitalization of the downtown.
