The Yonkers Public Schools (the “District”) is requesting cost proposals from qualified consultants to provide Annual Fire Inspection, Prevention, and Training for its School Facilities Management Dept. (SFMD). The resulting contract is expected to have a 1-year term of service and four (4) options to renew for an additional year with the same pricing and conditions. BASIC SERVICES - The Consultant shall perform Basic Services consisting of any one or all of the phases described below as paragraphs 7.01 through 7.05 and include the services as deemed necessary to ensure the Yonkers Public Schools can submit a Complete Annual Fire Inspection Report to the State Education Department, including providing Yonkers Public Schools with a Fire Prevention Procedures report for each school, witnessing a Fire Drill in each school, and providing Fire Prevention staff training. All services shall be in accordance with all applicable sections of New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, applicable sections of Education Law, section 807-a, and Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, Part 155, (8 NYCRR 155). The Consultant shall complete and submit to SFMD Fire Inspection Reports, Fire Safety Nonconformance Reporting Sheets and Fire Prevention Procedure Reports required by the New York State Education Department for all Facilities in the District.
