2024-HOLIDAY_LIGHTS - Deliver, Install, Decorate, Maintain & Remove Outdoor White Holiday Lights

SCOPE OF WORK: The City of Yonkers (the “City”) is seeking a vendor to deliver, install, decorate, maintain, and remove white holiday lights at the City Hall Unity Fountain area, South Broadway entrance staircase area, Nepperhan Avenue side of City Hall, and both sides of the City Hall overpass. Delivery, installation, and decoration is needed prior to November 23, 2023 and must remain until after January 6, 2024. During this period, the awarded vendor is to maintain the lights to ensure they are fully functioning throughout the entire illumination period. All materials are to be supplied and maintained by the awarded vendor. The City will not supply any materials needed for this project. The City will not retain ownership of any material. The awarded vendor will be responsible for any and all material used. Power sources are available but the awarded vendor must coordinate with the City’s Department of Public Works through the City’s Parks Department regarding electrical connections. Some elements are to turn on daily via photocell, while other elements are to be connected to a timer. All lights connected to a timer are to turn on daily at 4:30PM EST and stay illuminated through 5:00AM EST.

• Unity Fountain Area:
  • White lights around the Unity Fountain and surrounding bushes
  • White lights around twenty-two (22) perimeter trees
  • One (1) 60” lighted wreath
• South Broadway Entrance Staircase
  • White lights wrapped around four (4) small trees, two (2) medium trees, and two (2) large trees
  • White lights wrapped around ten (10) light poles
    • Light poles measure approximately 12-18 inches wide
  • One (1) 60” lighted wreath
• Nepperhan Avenue Side of City Hall
  • White lights wrapped around two (2) light poles
    • Light poles measure approximately 12-18 inches wide
• City Hall Overpass
  • White lights on both Eastbound and Westbound sides of overpass
