Description

The intent of this specification is to insure that all fire pump systems on apparatus are tested on an annual basis to insure their safety and reliability.

There are 20 fire apparatus pumps which require testing annually. The purpose of this quote is to provide the YFD Service Center with a vendor who will perform pump testing required for various equipment and trucks.

These specifications describe the work necessary to test our FD pumps on FD vehicles comprising the City of Yonkers FD fleet.

The specification covers the minimum testing required without voiding the manufacturer’s warranty on the vehicle.

The Fleet has a total of 5 Ferrara Pumpers that are under factory warranty.

In order to participate/submit your quote, please complete the attached quotation form with your pricing as per our Schedule of Prices and also complete the checklist found on pages 3 through 5. Insurance requirements are also provided; however, insurance certificates/proofs will only be requested upon award.
