6619 - Flood and Drainage Improvements at Various Locations

The City of Yonkers seeks to construct flood and drainage improvements at various locations within the City.  IFB-6619 will result in a single, Prime Contract for General Construction services.  Tasks and products specified include site work, excavation, clearing/grubbing, storm drainage; form and precast concrete; arborist and landscaping services; erosion control; shrubs, trees, soil, mulch and other landscaping supplies; geotextiles; aggregates; quality control; etc.

This project is being financed with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (“CDBG-DR”) funds administered by the NYS Governor's Office of Storm Recovery (“GOSR”). Attention of bidders is particularly called to Section 3 requirements, M/WBE goals, Federal labor standards, Federal and State prevailing wage rates, online reporting requirements using Elation System, Inc. and other requirements included in the GOSR Supplementary Conditions for Contracts. Goals for MWBE participation on this project have been established: Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) 15% and Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) 15% (30% combined).
