The City of Yonkers Parks Department is seeking a vendor to furnish and install a new fire alarm system at the Spreckman Community Center located at 777 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704. The City has a set of the most recent building plans. Bidders shall refer to the AutoCad file for the floor plan at the Bernice Spreckman Community Center.
Fire alarm system work under this section shall include all labor, equipment, materials and services required to furnish and install a complete system of devices and wiring. The new system shall be complete with all necessary hardware, software, supplies, etc., as required for a complete and working system as described. All wiring and installation is to be Code compliant.
Catalog numbers specified are standard equipment of Edwards Systems Technologies (EST) and constitute type and quality of equipment required. Fire Alarm system shall be designed and installed in accordance with the requirements of the current NYS Building and Fire Codes and NFPA reference standards. Contractor shall prepare coordinated and stamped shop drawings with material specifications, manufacturer’s cut sheets, battery and voltage drop calculations and all other items for permitting. Full functional testing of the fire alarm system witnessed by the fire department and engineer of records sign off shall be required.
