RFB-6759 - Maintenance & Landscaping of (3) Three Daylighting locations - LARKIN/MILL/MAIN

Intent - from the City of Yonkers PARKS DEPARTMENT 
It is the intent of the City to contract with a vendor who will maintain and develop the landscapes pertaining to the Saw Mill River Daylighting Areas.  The work includes developing and overseeing the maturation of the landscapes as gardens. The City’s expectation is not only to keep the area clean and free of weeds but to enhance the existing landscapes through strategies and recommendations based on solid horticultural expertise and creativity.

The vendor shall be solely responsible for all methods and techniques, to coordinate and supply all necessary labor, equipment, and supervision, provide planting, watering, weeding, and cleaning of the flower beds.
 

Locations
1. Larkin Plaza Daylight- 55 Main St, Larkin Plaza between Warburton Ave & Buena Vista Ave.
2. Mill Street Daylight- Mill St. between Warburton Ave & Main Street ( Approx..15 Main Street)
3. New Main Street Daylight- Henry Herz Street & New Main Street (Approx..155 New Main Street)

A brief summary of qualifications including background, education and experience as it pertains to this contract with a description of your maintenance plan must be submitted with the bid.  Appropriate documentation will be required for verification of certifications; education, work experience, etc. The City will determine the adequate qualifications.
