RFB-6378A (Rebid of RFB-6378) - PROVIDE CHARTER FIELD TRIP TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR THE YONKERS PUBLIC SCHOOL

The Yonkers Public Schools district is seeking bids from qualified and responsible Bidders to provide charter field trips transportation services by means of buses (Coach, School bus - standard bus, minivans and wheelchair accessible minivans) for students and other designated persons to and from points as shall be specified by the School District or its authorized representatives during the period indicated for the purpose of instructional field trips and extracurricular trips.  The purpose of this bid is to supplement the Districts current transportation contract.  All buses shall be dedicated to the field trips.  Such transportation may be for trips in and outside the boundaries of Yonkers Public Schools starting as early as 7AM on any day(s) including Saturdays and holidays as designated by the YPS during September 2019– June 2020 school year.  On a typical day as few as six (6) and as many as twelve (12) field trip buses might be needed.  Vans are sometimes also used for field trips. Contractors should note the number of field trips buses they can provide on a daily basis as part of their field trip bid.
