The City of Yonkers is looking to Establish a Plumbing Contract for a 12 month period with a mutual option to extend for 12 months at the same prices, terms, and conditions, to assist the City of Yonkers Water Bureau’s Lead Service Line Replacement Program, making the final water meter connection to a newly installed K copper service line. For the purposes of this contract, the New York State Department of Health (“DOH”) has established a goal of 30% for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (“MWBE”) participation on any eligible expenses including subcontracted labor or services, equipment, materials, or any combined purchase of the foregoing under this contract. The Contractor is required to use Good Faith Efforts to achieve diversity goals for the project. The goal on the eligible portion of this contract will be 15% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (“MBE”) participation and 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (“WBE”) participation (based on the current availability of qualified MBEs and WBEs).
