THIS IS A SUPPLEMENTAL BID TO RFB-6514 & RFB-6514A
INTENT: The Yonkers Public Schools is seeking qualified Transportation vendors to provide In-District General Education, In-District Special Education, Out-of-District Special Education and Athletics Transportation Services on an as needed basis to fulfill additional routes that existing contracted Transportation vendors are presently unable to provide.
All transportation contracts will begin upon award. Transportation services are provided to qualifying Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 students, other service types may cover Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 students (included and not limited to McKinney Vento (students in temporary housing) and Foster Care. Students must be transported to and from school regularly, promptly, safely and without interruption or adverse incidents. It shall be the primary obligation of the Contractor to conduct its activities so that students will be assured of continuous and reliable service; and that their interests shall take precedence over the interests of the Contractor, or its drivers.
