Description

Intent:
The City of Yonkers (“the City”) is seeking a NYS DEC approved transfer facility for the proper disposal of construction and demolition debris, rock and dirt, concrete, and asphalt. Material will be delivered by City of Yonkers DPW personnel for disposal. Vendor selection will be based on cost for disposal at transfer facility and distance to travel roundtrip to and from the predetermined City of Yonkers location.

This bid will be awarded into two (2) contracts, Contract 1 and Contract 2.

Contract 1 – Disposal of Construction and Demolition Debris
Contract 2 – Disposal of Rock and Dirt

All bidding facilities must be an approved NYS DEC transfer facility licensed by Westchester County. The Westchester County license must accompany bid submission. Failure to include this license may render the bid submission non-responsive.

Contract Term:
The contract term shall be for a period of twelve (12) months.
