Separate sealed bids will be received by the City of Beacon in City Hall at One Municipal Plaza, Beacon, New York, until 10:30 a.m. on March 29, 2019 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Bids are requested for:

GENERAL CONTRACT
Work includes removal of existing curbs, sidewalks and light poles; installation of new storm drainage lines and structures, installation of new curbs and sidewalks; installation of new light poles, conduit, wiring, and pull boxes; milling a portion of the road; paving a portion of the road and pavement restoration; and restoration of driveways and walkways between South Street and Herbert Street.

Copies may be obtained at the City Hall from March 8, 2019 upon payment of $75.00 deposit in the form of cash, certified check or money order only, for each set.
The City of Beacon reserves the right to waive any informalities, and/or to reject any or all bids. The City will not discriminate against bidders because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability or marital status. Every worker employed in the performance of a public work contract shall be certified as having completed an OSHA 10 safety training course, in accordance with Labor Laws.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the proper amount and form, as described and provided in the Information to Bidders and Non-Collusive Certificate.
