RFP-DCP-37-16 - Agricultural Navigator

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this RFP is to hire an individual or consultant to act as the Agricultural Navigator for Dutchess County. The Dutchess County Agricultural Navigator will assist in the continuation, growth, enhancement, and promotion of the agricultural industry of Dutchess County, working to meet the goals and initiatives of the Dutchess County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan. The Navigator will be the first line contact for all agricultural needs, have a good understanding of and familiarity with agriculture, including existing agricultural resources which may include those found within the Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan. The Navigator assesses agricultural needs and works to match those needs with existing programs.
