The County of Dutchess requires sealed bids from qualified Bidders to provide as needed non-warranty mechanical and auto body repairs, and painting/decals, refinishing work unable to be performed at County facilities primarily responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance. These non-warranty services include repairs predominantly to SUVs, trucks, and transit buses and shall include engine, transmission, drive train, heat/air conditioning, bodywork, painting/decals and refinishing. Awarded vendors shall supply all labor, equipment, parts, and materials necessary to perform these services at their facilities. With the exception of auto body repair and painting, all repair and decal work may be performed at Dutchess County Public Transit’s garage provided the vendor comes equipped with all tools and specialized equipment needed to perform the work.
