Summary of Specifications:
The County of Dutchess requests proposals for a comprehensive health care delivery system at the Dutchess County Jail (DCJ). The facility is currently located at 150 North Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. The jail has a maximum capacity of 492 beds and houses both male and female inmates.
The average daily population for the last four years (2016 — 2017) was 417 inmates. It is important to note, however, this average reflects approximately 3,128 new admittances per year or an average of 8-9 new admittances per day.
