Description

The purpose of this contract is to provide the DCTC with consistent, comprehensible, and accurate traffic
volume, classification, and speed data on designated roads as well as non-motorized traffic (pedestrian and
bicyclist) volume data at designated walking and biking facilities.
Our traffic count program covers approximately 800 traffic count stations, most of which are counted on a
three-year cycle. Approximately 200 counts are conducted annually, including non-motorized (pedestrian and
bicyclist) counts. In addition to recurring counts, the program also covers project-specific or special counts,
including turning movement counts
