Description

The DCTC seeks consultant services to complete a vulnerability assessment of the transportation
system in Dutchess County. This assessment will build upon the work done for Moving Dutchess
Forward, which broadly discusses how climate change will affect our transportation system (see Climate Change Trends and Flood Vulnerability Map). This assessment will further our understanding of these effects, convey this information to decision makers and the public, and ultimately help us better prepare our transportation system for climate change. The assessment will also support Dutchess County’s work on a new Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) and Climate Action Plan, which are separate from this study.
