Description

The Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community (DBCH) announces this Request for Proposals (RFP) for a qualified contractor to develop and operate a Mobile Crisis Intervention Team (MCIT) to serve individuals with mental health challenges and substance use disorders in Dutchess County. The MCIT will be composed of licensed mental health professionals and certified peers who can effectively and appropriately intervene in a behavioral health crisis with individuals across the lifespan. This service is field based, and clients can be met at home, school, work or wherever the crisis occurs. The team may work with other emergency responders as necessary.
Only non-profit 501(c)(3) entities are eligible for award of contract(s) resulting from this
RFP. However, non-profit 501(c)(3) entities can submit a proposal to provide these
services either directly or contractually by a firm in the private for-profit sector, assuming
the cost proposal is competitive and not cost prohibited.
