Description

This project involves the construction of a multi‐use path adjacent to NYS Route 22 and Metro North Railroad Harlem Line for a distance of 3,500 linear feet (0.66 miles). The pedestrian path will extend from the Wassaic Train Station into the Hamlet of Wassaic and will become the new start of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail.

All Bids must be submitted, upon the forms furnished by the Town, addressed to the Town of Amenia, c/o Victoria Perotti, Town Supervisor, Town Hall, 4988 Route 22, Amenia, NY 12501 and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “PIN 8780.40: Wassaic Trail to the Train” and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashier’s check made payable to the “Town of Amenia”, or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, payable on demand, in the amount of 10% of the Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract if it be awarded to Them.

Electronic copies of the Specifications, Contract Documents, and Bid Forms may be obtained beginning April 1st, 2019 from the Town of Amenia by contacting the Town Supervisor at: vperotti@ameniany.gov between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
