Summary of Specifications:
Orange County is requesting proposals from individuals, firms or teams (“consultant”) to assist the Orange County Planning Department (Planning) in the preparation of an Agriculture and Farmland Protection Plan (the Plan) for Orange County. The preparation of the Plan is funded in part by a grant from the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and by the Orange County Agriculture and Farmland Protection Board (AFPB). This project is estimated to take a total of approximately eighteen (18) months to complete and will involve substantial in-kind services from Planning and from partnering agencies/organizations.
