Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of the County of Orange (Orange) to solicit bids for CRUSHED STONE MATERIALS to be furnished to Orange County Department of Public Works, 2455-2459 Route 17M, Goshen, New York, or any other county agency when specified.

The County shall have the exclusive right to make purchases from the next available lowest responsive and responsible bidder. In the event the successful bidder is determined to be in default, the County reserves its legal and equitable rights against the defaulting contractor. Default shall be considered when trucks from the County and/or any Political Subdivision cannot be loaded within a reasonable period of time, after arrival. Use of the next lowest bidder will be made as deemed necessary by the Superintendent of Highways on a per case basis.
