RFP-DGS02-13 - ENERGY CONSULTING SERVICES

Summary of Specifications:
The County is seeking qualified Energy Consultants to provide services related to the procurement of natural gas, fuel oil and electricity. The County has a need for a qualified, experienced Energy Consultant who can provide assistance in the analysis of energy commodities markets, municipal aggregation, negotiation and completion of energy supply contracts, energy conservation and development of alternative energy resources. The successful Consultant will demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of the energy procurement market, including but not limited to, knowledge of Retail Energy Providers, contacts with key individuals with energy providers in order to provide strategic negotiation to accomplish the required objectives, and the ability to provide ongoing services related to energy procurement that will lead to actual, realized reductions in energy costs.
