Summary of Specifications:
The Orange County Health Department anticipates processing approximately 5,000 drinking water samples during 2013, and subsequently during 2014 & 2015. The majority of these are to be analyzed for coliform in accordance with the methods set down in Part 9000 of the current Edition of Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater. In addition, those samples that are from non chlorinated supplies, approximately 25% of the total, also have Heterotrophic (Standard) Plate Counts done in accordance with Part 9000 of the referenced Standard Methods.
