RFP-DSS04-17 - Family Preservation Services

The County, by and through its Department of Social Services (“OCDSS”) is seeking proposals from qualified Offerors for the provision of mandated and voluntary (i.e. non-mandated) community-based family preservation services (also referred to as “preventive services”) for families with children who are at risk of child abuse, neglect, maltreatment, and/or out-of-home placement.  Such services are to be provided in a manner consistent with Title 18 of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations (“NYCRR”), Part 423 (“18 NYCRR Part 423”).   
 
Each Offeror responding to this RFP must clearly identify in its Proposal whether it is interested in providing family preservation services under the mandated and/or voluntary program, and the specific services it is offering to provide.  Proposals for each program (i.e. mandated and voluntary) will be evaluated and awarded separately.  However, the County reserves the right to award a contract for multiple programs to one (1) Offeror, if deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
