1. The County of Orange (“County”) is soliciting bids for the placement and compaction of asphalt pavement
on designated County roads and at other locations, as may be required by the County, by geographic zone.
2. Contracts will be awarded on a per zone basis. As such, a separate bid must be submitted for each zone
identified in this RFB. Bidders may submit a bid for as many zones as such bidder deems appropriate. Separate Bid
Forms are included in this RFB for each of the four (4) zones identified in Section 3 of this Scope portion.
3. The zones for this RFB are defined as follows:
(a) Zone 1 includes the Towns of Crawford, Montgomery, Newburgh, and New Windsor, as well as all
municipalities located within the borders of those towns.
(b) Zone 2 includes the Towns of Blooming Groove, Cornwall, Hamptonburgh, Highlands, and
Woodbury, as well as all municipalities located within the borders of those towns.
(c) Zone 3 includes the Towns of Deerpark, Greenville, Mount Hope, and Wallkill, as well as all
municipalities located within the borders of those towns.
(d) Zone 4 includes the Towns of Chester, Goshen, Minisink, Monroe, Tuxedo, Warwick, and
Wawayanda, as well as all municipalities located within the borders of those towns.
