Summary of Specifications:
The County of Orange (County), NY is seeking a fully approved and licensed hazardous waste management contractor to receive, package, manifest, load, transport, and properly dispose of pesticides, fertilizers, solvents, oil based paints, etcetera for the following events. The County, under anticipated approval of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, is planning four (4) County-wide Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), Collection Events. The purpose of these events is to provide Orange County residents, schools, farms, municipal governments, businesses, and various Departments of Orange County that are Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CESQG) with an economical, convenient and environmentally sound disposal option.
