Description

The County, by and through its Department of Social Services (“OCDSS”), is seeking proposals from qualified Offerors for the provision of mental health juvenile justice (“MHJJ”) services designed with the goal of addressing the needs of youth who have been arrested, to prevent further penetration into the juvenile justice system, including prevention of subsequent criminal behavior and/or out-of-home placement. Studies and local experience show that a high percentage of youth entering the juvenile justice system are found to have some form of mental illness.
