RFB-OC102-20 - Neversink Bridge Repairs

Rehabilitation of structural elements of the bridge superstructure and at the three piers and end abutment of the bridge. At all three piers and the end abutment rehabilitation work includes; structural lifting, removal and replacement of concrete pedestals and bearings, cleaning and painting of structural steel girder ends and diaphragms, removal and replacement of spalled abutment concrete, cleaning of the bridge seats and sealing with epoxy paint, and repairs to areas of cracked concrete with epoxy crack sealing. Additional work at all three piers will include; localized structural steel repairs to steel girder ends and diaphragms. The existing concrete headers and joints will also be removed and replaced with new armored joint systems at each pier and the end abutment.
