Description

1. The County of Orange on behalf of its Dept. of Social Services (OCDSS) seeks proposals from public or non-profit youth caring agencies qualified to operate a non-secure detention (NSD) program as more fully described in the Specifications section of this RFP.
2. OCDSS is responsible for the administration of juvenile detention services for eligible youth residing within Orange County. OCDSS estimates the need for one NSD facility with a certified capacity of at least 8 beds for a co-ed population. Proposals will only be accepted from Offerors who currently operate at least one New York State Office of Children and Family Services certified NSD facility.
