RFP-OFA01-13 - PERSONAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Orange (“County”) by and through the Orange County Office for the Aging (“OCOFA”) and Orange County Department of Health (“OCDOH”) (each individually an “Agency” and collectively, the “Agencies”) requests proposals for the provision of personal emergency response services (PERS) to eligible recipients residing in Orange County. PERS means provision and maintenance, in the client's residence, of electronic communication equipment that is linked, via the client's telephone, VOIP, or cellular line, with a central emergency response center, the continuous monitoring of any signals transmitted via this system, and the notification of emergency response persons or organizations, as needed.
