RFP-DS03-14 - Parole Reentry Services

Summary of Specifications:
The County's Department of Social Services ("DSS") is hereby announcing its intent to contract for the provision of Parole Reentry Services for the County of Orange. 

The County provides a wide array of services for adults returning to the County from correctional facilities throughout the State of New York. Over the past few years, working with a performance-based grant from the Department of Criminal Justice, the DSS has taken the lead in developing a Parole Reentry Task Force that focuses on developing reintegration strategies for residents of the county returning from incarceration. These services have included: the development of a Reentry Task Force, Parole Reentry Coordination Services, case management, and employment services.
