RFP-PLA02-12 - Project Coordinator for Planning the Adaptive Reuse of Vacant Prop

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Orange, New York, Department of Planning (OCPD) seeks a qualified firm, local government entity, or individual as Project Consultant to provide professional services to complete an inventory of vacant buildings and property within the City of Newburgh and create a searchable database of those properties targeted for adaptive reuse including site characteristics and conditions. Project work will also include development of an adaptive reuse plan with recommendations for the City of Newburgh. 

Training workshops will also be provided to representatives of other Orange County municipalities to support similar type of work in their communities. 

This work will be performed in support of a smart growth effort for the City of Newburgh and County of Orange, funded in part by the New York State Department of State with funds provided under Title 3 of the Environmental Protection Fund.
