ITB-130302 - Proposed Citizens Drop-off area OCTS # 2

Summary of Specifications:
The Project is for the construction of a new Citizens Drop-off Area (CDA) on the existing Transfer Station #2 property adjacent to Orr Avenue within the Town of Newburgh. The new CDA includes the demolition of the existing citizens drop-off area, clearing, mass earthwork, and grading to provide for the placement of a 5,700 ft2 reinforced concrete slab on grade covered by a 7,300 ft2 structural steel canopy erected atop a reinforced concrete foundation. Additional project components include the supply and placement of a 180 ft2 prefabricated transaction booth, the installation of supporting utilities (water service, sanitary sewer, electric service, leachate controls) and additional site components (stormwater controls, placement of approximately 35,000 ft2 asphaltic pavement, and associated traffic control devices).
