Description

Summary of Specifications:
The Orange County Planning Department, is requesting proposals from individuals or firms to serve as a Coordinator to this Department to assist in the preparation of a watershed management plan for the Quassaick Creek. The preparation of the plan is funded in part by a grant from the New York State Department of State Title 11 Environmental Protection Funds and by the Orange County Water Authority. The watershed management plan will build on previous and on-going work by partnering agencies and others. Additional assessment and analysis will also be needed. An Advisory Committee of local and regional stakeholders will guide the watershed planning process. This project is estimated to take a total of eighteen (18) months to complete. A not-to-exceed amount of $40,750 is available for the Coordinator position.
