Summary of Specifications:
The Orange County Department of Mental Health (OCDMH) announces this Request for Proposals (RFP) for one time funding of $185,000 from the NYS Office of Mental Health effective 7/1/13-6/30/15 to support a pilot program for Military Veterans from all war/combat eras for the duration of the 2 year grant period, who are experiencing and/or suffering from a behavioral health, alcohol and/or substance abuse, Traumatic Brain Injury, and/or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) symptoms. Support includes the provision of individual and/or small group peer-to peer best practice interventions provided by a Veteran Peer Support Specialist (VPSS).
