RFB-OC016-18 - Replacement of Denton Bridge CR12 over Rutgers Creek BIN 3344770

The County anticipates that the term of this Contract will commence as soon as possible after execution of the contract and the closure of CR12 Lower Road to shall occur between Contract Award and December 15, 2018 at which time the project shall have reached substantial completion and must be returned to two-way traffic.  The term of the Contract may be renewed or extended, solely at the County's discretion, until project completion. However, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE, and Contractor shall use best efforts to complete the work in the timeframe specified in the RFB or other Contract Document.  The County reserves its right to pursue all remedies available at law and in equity related to Contractor's failure to complete the work in the specified timeframe including, but not limited to exercise of liquidated damages provisions in the Contract Documents, if any, and termination of the Contract with restitution by Contractor.
