RFP-DSS10-13 - Social Casework Preventive Services

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Orange (“County”) Department of Social Services (“DSS”) is seeking provision of Mandatory Preventive Services. Social Casework Preventive Services are designed for families who are either required to participate in services as a result of a Child Protective Services (“CPS”) investigation and subsequent Family Court involvement or for families who agree to receive services based upon significant risk factors for child abuse / neglect as determined by DSS Child Welfare staff. Social Casework Preventive Services require specific preventive efforts and/or court-ordered compliance services designed to prevent incidents of child abuse or neglect and to prevent the placement of children into foster care setting.
